My name is Lacie Peterson and I am a nationally certified personal trainer through ACE (American Council on Exercise) and the National Personal Training Institute where I completed 500 hours of coursework including strength and conditioning, nutrition, program design, anatomy, and practical applications. I also worked for almost a year as a personal trainer in a gym before deciding that I wanted to better serve my clients by training them outside of the confinement of a gym.
Growing up I was always into sports and being very active. I played soccer, softball, basketball, and track until I reached high school and started to focus merely on soccer. I played soccer year round on numerous different teams. I set goals for myself to become first team all league and league MVP, which I accomplished due to my hard work, dedication, and extra support from my family and friends. Knowing how good it feels to accomplish a personal goal, even though at times it isn’t always fun, I knew I wanted to be their for other people when they accomplished their goals. Even I need support and a motivational push now and then when it comes to fitness, which is why I decided to become a personal trainer and help others to find the motivation and support that they need to succeed.
